The past couple of days I've been spending a lot of time with my homies and it seems like every time some one puts on some music its this kid called ASAP ROCKY. Last night i was chilling with getting faded and i looked him up and his mix tape is nice but the screw version by Slim K is some hot fire.

PROFANE S. FLAMES
I’ve known Profane for a long time now, one thing I can say about him is he always been hard working. He’s consistently made music as long as I’ve known him and it only gets better and better. Since he signed to Game Face Entertainment he’s taken it to a whole new level, with hart felt lyrics about the tales of the streets and the lives of inner city youth. With two projects expected to drop with in the next few months I suspect Profane will be doing great things in the very near future.
Where are you from?
Muskegon, Mi Aka Skee Town.. President might I add..
How did you get started with Hip Hop?
I started writing poetry in middle school, eventually as time progressed I started freestyling in the lunch room, and then in the streets. I've always been a fan of music so it came rather natural.
So, what are your thoughts on the current state of the game?
A lot of old schoolers say hip hop is dead. Though it lacks substance if the old days, I feel it's alive as it's ever been! It's more business orientated now though. The actually music means less than the promotion behind it these days. You need it all in hip hop from Soulja Boy to Eminem and Wayne to Diggy Simmons. It evolves the culture as a whole.
How do you separate yourself from other artists? I separate myself by being an artist, there are rappers and artist. Rappers lack passion they have ulterior motives for doing this rap shit, the money, fame and whatever else moves them. Artists have a love and respect for this game that is one of a kind. I pride myself in truly respecting the essence.
Who are your influences?
I’m influenced by a wide range of music 2pac, Nirvana, Biggie, Metallica, Hall & Oates, Al Green, Jodaci, R. Kelly and plenty other timeless music.
Who do you want to work with in the future?
Aww man, I would do a whole album with Lloyd, I love dude voice. I like a lot of new niggas Big Krit, J Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, Meek Mill, Tyga, Drake, Nas, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. I would hold my own on any record! With anybody!
What is your favorite album of all time?
I can't name just one 2pac - Makavelli, Nas - I Am. Those two are probably my favorites.
What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career?
To have the privilege of saying I was successful at being myself.

Let's Try Something New.
I've been involved in music my whole life yet I’ve never really found my place. I figure it’s about time to try something new, so I’m taking my old blog that’s not really doing anything and I’m transforming it into my own personal forum for shit I like. Local music, food, and funny shit I see on the streets and anything else I find entertaining. Please feel free to comment even if you just want to tell me how much you hate me.
